Math Facts — Privacy Policy

Math Facts ("the App") is designed for children and takes privacy seriously. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

Data Collection

Math Facts does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

All practice data — including names, grade levels, scores, and progress — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No data ever leaves your device.

Speech Recognition

The App offers optional voice input using Apple's on-device speech recognition (SFSpeechRecognizer). When enabled:

Microphone

The App requests microphone permission solely for speech recognition (answering math facts by voice). The microphone is only active during flashcard practice when speech input is enabled. No audio is recorded or saved.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Math Facts is designed for use by children ages 4 and up. The App:

Third-Party Services

Math Facts does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Retention

All data is stored on your device. You can reset all progress at any time from the Profile screen. Uninstalling the App removes all associated data.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
